Sports massage is a great tool to relieve tension in the body and gain better mobility. It is also excellent to speed up recovery and prevent injuries. This is a deep, thorough massage of your fascia and muscles.
You do not have to be an Olympic athlete in order to have a sports massage, but you should expect it to be a lot deeper than youraverage massage. That said, I see old and young people in my clinic, from stiff“lap-top” shoulders, recovering movement after surgery, to prevention and recovery from sports issues.
